The 100% Lake Taupo Charitable Trust delivers a range of events and activities that generate proceeds that are then distributed to local groups and organisations via an ongoing granting programme.  Since we started in 2009, we have raised over $1m for the Taupo community from the Zero Risk King of the Ring events, and have delivered other fun activities like the temporary Ice Rink.

The Trust is seeking to appoint up to two new independent Trustees to strengthen the expertise of its Board and help meet the challenges of delivering our next phase of growth.

Applications are invited from individuals who have an affinity to the ethos of the Trust, are enthusiastic and passionate about this community and can bring new ideas and energy to the Trust.

Trustees are required to attend 10 Board Meetings per year (approx. 1 – 2 hours per month), in a voluntary (unpaid) capacity.

Understanding of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship of a charity would be an advantage.
